Presidents Day

School will be closed on Monday, February 16th, 2004 and will re-open on Tuesday, February 17th, 2004.

All votes and monies must be turned in by Tuesday, February 17th, 2004 at 4:30pm.  Any votes turned in after, will not be counted.  Remember prizes will be given to the top sellers.  Keep it clean and have fun.

PTA Meeting

The PTA will be having their second meeting on Thursday, February 19th, 2004, at 5:45pm sharp.  We are asking all parents to attend.  Topics that are going to be discussed are Breakfast Sale and Easter Lemonade Stand Fundraisers.  Your questions and concerns are welcome.  Refreshments will be served.

Read-A-Thon

The NTA Annual Read-A-Thom began on Friday, January 23rd, 2003 and will end on February 19th, 2004.  Please remember to include your child/children name, the title of the book, and how many pages that were read on a list and turn them in to your child/children teacher.

District Spelling Bee

The District Spelling Bee will be held on February 20th, 2004 at Bertha C. Bochulte School.  Our Representative will be Taheed Foy and we would like to wish him the best in the upcoming event.

Black History

The 8th Annual Black History Month Program is scheduled for Friday, February 27th, 2004 at 8:30am.  Parents are welcomed to attend.

Reading Enrichment Program

Everyday staff and children are encouraged to read to enhance language development and comprehension/writing skills.  For the pre-schoolers and lower elementary classes parents are encouraged to spend 30 min.-60 min. sometime during the month of February in your child's class, reading to them.  Please contact your child's teacher to set up the appointment.

Labels, Labels, Labels

Please remember to turn in all Campbell labels weekly to your child/children's teacher.

Primary Spelling

The in house Primary Spelling Bee will be held on March 4th, 2004.  Details to follow.
